Johnny Villalobos

Winner of Wanderlust's Top Conservation Guide prize at the 2019 Wanderlust World Guide Awards, Johnny grew up in Guapiles, a small community on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica.

An expert tour guide since 1995 his specialist subjects are natural history, naturalism, archaeology, anthropology and history. An important professional and personal accomplishment is Johnny’s participation in social and environmental projects.
