Adrian O’Neill

Adrian is a passionate and energetic historian and general tour guide who was born and bred in Sligo. He studied Archaeology and Classical Studies at the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) where he developed a strong interest in the broad spheres of early Greek and Roman history.

He studied Archaeology and Classical Studies at the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) where he developed a strong interest in the broad spheres of early Greek and Roman history, society, mythology and architecture.

He has devoted a great deal of time to local and national Irish folklore and history. With a number of years of experience in public and private tour guiding in Sligo town for organisations such as Failte Ireland. He is also the founder of chairman of the successful Sligo Heritage and History Club.
