There's a broad selection of fascinating tours in our new brochure, both brand new and returning, and all of the departures will be led by our team of renowned expert guide lecturers. New tours on offer for 2021 range from an archaeological adventure in both Thailand and Laos, which includes visits to UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a cruise along the Mekong River, to a tour named Conquering the Aztecs, which will see you explore the floating gardens of Xochimilco as well as an array of temples and sites of historic significance. There are also a handful of new art history tours available for next year, which delve into the lives and works of Piera Della Francesca and Caravaggio, in addition to a tour that focuses on French Impressionism and another that studies Dutch Painters set in the Netherlands.
There are also a host of brand new UK-based tours available for 2021, which include two tours centred around the life and works of writer Agatha Christie, a chance to go behind-the-scenes in Roman Kent, a Wartime Britain short break that visits the nerve centres of the Battle of Britain, and a T. E. Lawrence tour that covers the county of Dorset.
History lovers will be interested in our four-day Henry VIII tour, which is led by none other than Suzannah Lipscomb, and there is also a Richard III tour along with the return of the company’s harrowing Face of Evil tour, which traces the story of Nazi Germany in sites associated with the party’s birth, rise to power and eventual collapse.
Returning tours include our ever-popular Pompeii experience, which is eight days in duration and features a range of private access visits to sites and archaeological hotspots off-limits to members of the public, our long-running Dordogne Cave Art tour, our extensive Chile & Easter Island adventure, and even a chance to discover the rock art in the Namibian wilds.
There are also a selection of cruises on offer for 2021, from European river cruises that stop at historic cities where ancient Roman ruins can be seen, to multi-centre ocean cruises such as its Jordan, Egypt and Israel cruise, which includes visits to the bucket-list site of Petra along with chances to visit the legendary Pyramids, the UNESCO-listed Church of the Nativity and the staggering Temple of Karnak.
