Competition: Win A Trip To Pompeii!

To kick off a brand new decade (and to make dreary January a bit more exciting), we decided to launch an exciting competition that will see one lucky guest win a place on a Pompeii tour! 

So, how can you be in with a chance of winning? Well, it's very simple. To enter into our Pompeii prize draw, all you have to do is book a place on any full tour between 2nd January and 2nd February (excluding our study days and Bare Bones tour range). That's right - if you've been debating treating yourself to a holiday, there is no better time to book! For the full terms and conditions, read on. 

What exactly is the prize?

Book a place on any of our tours (excluding our study days and Bare Bones tour range) between 2nd January and 2nd February and we'll put your name into a prize draw to win one place on our Pompeii, Herculaneum & Classical Campania tour, departing between July and December 2020. 

This is one of our longest-running adventures and each departure is led by an expert - many of whom have personally excavated at the site or are experts in different areas of Roman archaeology and history. You can travel in the company of our award-winning Dr. Eireann Marshall, the fantastic John Shepherd or even the best-selling authors Ben Kane and Dr. Simon Elliott. 

The 2020 edition of this tour is particularly special because it features a range of exciting new additions, many of which are private. If you win, you can look forward to a private visit to the Theatre of Herculaneum, private access to the store rooms at Paestum where you'll see Lucanian painted tombs not on display to the public, and private access to the Cave of Sejanus.



Elsewhere, you'll devote an entire day to the haunting ruins of Pompeii itself, spend another day exploring nearby Herculaneum, you'll hike the great crater of Vesuvius, and you'll even get to wander the tunnels of the amphitheatre at Pozzuoli. 

Accommodation on this Italian tour is at the charming Hotel Scapolatiello and the trip itself is all-inclusive, so everything is covered from the minute you arrive until the hour that you depart. 

So, all that's left to do is decide where it is you want to go in 2020 and book your place during the prize draw period to be officially entered to win.

*Terms & Conditions

1) Book a place on any full tour from January 2nd - February 2nd (the same period as our January sales offers) and you'll automatically be entered into a prize draw to win one place on our flagship Pompeii, Herculaneum & Classical Campania tour, departing in the second half of the year. 
2) The draw does not apply to our study days or Bare Bones tour range.
3) Tour will depart between July and December, 2020 and departure date subject to availability. 
4) The prize is for one place on the specified tour. 
5) The prize draw is open to everyone, but the winner will be responsible for getting themselves to the departure point of the designated London airport to catch the included return flights. 
6) There is no alternative to the prize.
7) The winner will be notified of their prize by email by 30th May 2020.
8) Andante Travels reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time.
